Fabric Children’s Balls

I have always loved Swanndri and when looking for fabric to make these balls I couldn’t go past the heritage colours that Swanndri are known for. Luckily I had saved two old jackets that had lived past their use by date as jackets but I couldn’t seem to let myself throw them out I knew that I would put them to good use eventually. Rope Bottle Vases

My very clever husband has just finished making me some new bedside tables out of pallets and old weatherboards they look fantastic but I needed something to put on them to complete the rustic theme.

I have always loved roped bottles but had never given them a try, so I raided the recycling bin for the bottle and jar shapes that I was after and away I went.

Lace Scarf

While I enjoy the crispness that winter brings I  defiantly  don’t enjoy feeling cold. So this next project was to warm my neck on chilly days, I have had this sitting in my sewing to do box for over a year, I spotted this design on ETSY.com and thought that I could tackle something like that. I bought all that I needed to make it and then let it sit dormant, that was until my revised to do list from the other week. Continue reading
